Topic: PiggyPal -- Track Spending, Save Money

This application is still in closed-beta, but I thought I'd share it here.

It's a fairly simple application so far.  You download CSV files from your online banking provider and import them into PiggyPal.  It then asks you to categorize your transactions.  When categorizing transactions, you can create "rules" that teach PiggyPal how to categorize similar transactions in the future.  This makes the categorization less and less painful as you create more and more rules.

So far the reporting is a bit lackluster, but it shows some pretty graphs and lets you drill down into subcategories.  I've been using it for a couple months and it's kind of sobering to realize how much I'm spending on some things.  smile

Appreciate any feedback.  I need to create a tutorial that better explains how the whole process works, and I still need to round out the feature set.

If this develops this should probably become an option to choose in categorizing transactions especially for those people which have a lot of transactions and doesn't have the time to categorize each one. The way you've described it, it seems that it can be trusted and sorting can be done smoothly. Only that it needs more something with the layout and the way it looks. Well, you should go on in developing this.

jvinet.. was wondering if this has already been implemented? Obviously this post has been made 2 years ago and there should be developments, if not, upgrades already. Thanks in advance. aussie slots
